Donna Ruth Savage Harris, age 68, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at her home in Oakland, MS. She was born May 23, 1947, the oldest of seven children, to the late J.R. and Charlene Bishop Savage. Donna was retired from Kroger where she worked as a cashier. She loved to bake and she adored her dogs.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS with Bro. Michael Haas officiating. Donna is survived by her daughters, Amy (Willie) McCachren of Water Valley, MS and Mildred Ann (Bobby) Hopper of Mt. Pleasant, MS; her sisters, Lois (Paul) Laster of AL, Johnna (Charley) Ashmore of Batesville, MS, and Tracy (Danny) Willyard of AL; her brothers, Bo (Betty) Savage of Rossville, TN and Joe (Linda) Savage of Somerville, TN; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, Willie Andrew Harris and her brother, James Savage.
