LEICESTER: Ruth V. (Parks) Johnson 91, of 905 Main St., died Thursday, July 16 at her home.
She was the wife of Paul G. Johnson, Sr., who died in 1990. She leaves her son Paul G. Johnson, Jr. with whom she lived, her daughter Judy B. Lacava of Falmouth, two grandchildren Erin Giargiari of Forrestdale and Michael Troy of Spotsyllvania, Va., four great grandchildren Gavin, Bella, Mia and GiGi, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sons Peter and Brian Johnson and two brothers Halson and "Bud" Parks.
Born in Caribou, Me., she was the daughter of Harry and Blanch (Pierce) Parks and later graduated from Caribou High School. Ruth was a lifetime member of the North Eastern Lilly Association and longtime member of the Worcester Horticultural Society.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20 at 11 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central N.E.
