Obituary

Robert “Bob” Panza, age 68, of Plymouth, died Tuesday July 14th at the Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of Kathryn “Kitty” Panza and loving father of Anthony and Michael. Bob is also survived by his daughter-in-law Kimberly, his grandchildren Bethany and Andrew, his brother James, and Darlene, wife of the late William Panza. He will be missed by all including his nieces, nephews and an amazing group of friends. Born on January 6, 1947 in Brockton MA, he was the son of the late William and Marjorie (Heath) Panza. Bob was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Texas, and Southwest Texas State. He worked for years as a teacher for the Plymouth Schools and included his true passion for sports in everything he did. He was a mentor, coach, sports official, Cranberry Baseball League hall of famer, and active member of numerous officiating organizations: the SSUA, the CBUANE, and the EMAIFO. He enjoyed his family, friends, dogs, and job every day. Bob loved life. A visitation will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. Plymouth, on Friday July 17th from 4:00 till 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held the following day at St. Mary’s Church, Plymouth, at 10:00 am.
