WEBSTER - Charlotte L. (Lamb) Borowski, 74, died Monday, July 13, 2015 in Brookside Rehab & Healthcare Center after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Joseph A. Borowski; a sister, Patricia Mullhal of Falmouth; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jolene Dyer of Maine whom she and her husband raised. She was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Piasta.
She was born in Webster and raised in Oxford, the daughter of Edward F. and Constance F. (Kozlowski) Lamb. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1959, and had lived in Webster since 1961. She was married on April 22, 1967 in Saint Joseph Basilica with her husband’s cousin, Rev. Charles E. J. Borowski, officiating.
Mrs. Borowski worked as a winder for 26 years at Cranston Print Works Company before she retired. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and its Sacred Heart Society. She enjoyed knitting.
Charlotte, in her good-natured spirit, touched many lives. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookside Rehab for their special care for Charlotte, especially Laurie, Debbie and Karen.
The funeral will be held Friday, July 17, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10:30 Friday morning in the funeral home.
