Obituary

SPENCER: James B. Casavant 58 of 11 Pearl St., died Friday, July 10 in UMASS Medical Center in Worcester after a brief illness.
He leaves his longtime companion and best friend of 11 years, Cathy R. Sauvageau with whom he lived, his father Bernard "Benny" Casavant of Spencer, a son Adam Olsen, daughters Staci Plumski and Kara Henge, grandchildren Kodi, Tyler and Rachel all of Minnesota, 3 brothers Paul R. Casavant of Spencer, David J. Casavant and his wife Tammy and John R. Casavant all of Brookfield, his step children Sadie Castle and her 3 daughters Brianna, Emily and Lillian of Spencer and Justin Castle of Mannville, RI., many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Beatrice I. (Kelly) Casavant and later graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was most recently employed as a driver for JYL Transportation of Spencer. He was a member of Worcester Inter Tribal Indian Center. He enjoyed going to yard sales and making Native American Indian Crafts.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 16 from 5 TO 6:45 p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A service will be held at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
