In Taunton, July 11, 2015 Mary C. (Nadeau) Gordon, Age 79, passed away in Morton Hospital suddenly. Mary was reunited with her beloved late husband Ronald Gordon. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alfred I. & Ida M. (Morin) Nadeau. Mary has resided in Taunton all her life. She was employed for the City of Taunton for 38 years, as the former City Clerk, retiring in 1997. Mary was a member of the Holy Family Church Choir and the Oakland Seniors. She enjoyed many activities but above all she cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. Mary leaves her children Ronald Gordon and his wife Kathi of Taunton, Edward Gordon and his wife Rochelle of Taunton, Thomas Gordon and his wife Martha of Dighton, Steven Gordon and his wife Betty of East Taunton and Jeanne Grady and her husband Alan of East Taunton. Mary also leaves her sister Helen Benoit of Taunton and her late siblings Edmund Nadeau and Irene Castro. Mary leaves her loving 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, July 15th at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 5-8 pm. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
