Sally T. O’Connell, 79, of Worcester died Friday, July 3rd in UMASS Memorial Hospital – Memorial Campus. She leaves her brother, John J. O’Connell of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Kittredge.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John F. and Sarah (Clifford) O’Connell. Sally was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She worked at Worcester City Hospital for over 33 years as a Lab Technician retiring in 1991 when the hospital closed. Ms. O’Connell loved to travel, shop and especially loved the beaches of Maine.
Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
