Richard D. Crowley, 50, of Worcester died Friday, July 3rd at home. He was predeceased by his father, John J. Crowley, Jr. He leaves his mother, Barbara L. (Hoaglund) Crowley of Worcester; two sisters, Patricia L. DeCastro and her husband, Stephen of Portsmouth, RI and Cathleen M. Smith of Worcester; a niece and several nephews and his dog, Bella.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School. Mr. Crowley worked as a CNA at various nursing homes and hospitals in the area, in the maintenance department at Plumley Village and most recently as a driver with the WRTA. Richard was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his niece, nephews, great nephew and great niece.
Funeral services and burial will be private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
