Kane, John Francis (76) of West Roxbury passed away Saturday, July 4th surrounded by loving family and friends. He is survived by his children Bernadette (Kane) Goudreault, John Kane and wife Kristin, Rich Kane, and Linda (Kane) Maerov and husband Jeff. Former wife, always his friend, Angela Kane. His sister Margaret Sweeney and her husband John. He was the fun-loving grandfather to Adriana Mello, Ben and Andrew Kane, Haley Goudreault, and Samantha Maerov. John was happiest spending quality time with family and friends, and enjoying all things Irish. He had a passion for all Boston sports teams as well as Donegal Irish Football. John also loved attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events.Visiting hours from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, will be held on Monday July 6th from 4-8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Saint Theresa Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury at 11:30am on Tuesday July 7th. Interment in Mt. Benedict cemetery, West Roxbury.
