WORCESTER: Ronald J. Vigeant,64, of Parsons Hill Drive, died on Friday, July 3rd in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Jeannie M. (Leblond) Vigeant, a daughter, Jennifer A. Vigeant of Webster; four sisters, Beverly Lapine and her husband Francis of Webster, Betty Dupree of Dudley, Bonnie Edwards of Spencer, and Brenda Vigeant of Douglas; as well as several nieces and nephews. Sadly, he was predeceased by his son Michael A. Vigeant in 2010.
Ronald was born in Worcester, son of Lucien and Beatrice (Buteau) Vigeant. He was a machinist at Reed-Rico in Holden, retiring in 2001.
He was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus in Leicester. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling.
The Funeral will be Wednesday, July 8 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 7th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
