EASTMAN, Robert W. Age 86 of West Roxbury, June 29, 2015. Beloved husband of 55 years to Rita E. (Shea) Eastman. Devoted father of Christine Eastman and her husband David of Ramsgate, England and Elizabeth O’Hear and her husband Edward of East Walpole. Loving grandfather of Sam and Rachel. Brother of Joan Poirier of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for 36 years. Upon retirement, Bob volunteered for the DAV and the MSPCA. Throughout his retirement years, he enjoyed traveling and playing golf. The family would especially like to thank his nurses on 6 South at the Brigham & Women’s Faulkner Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Late Korean War veteran.
