West Boylston- Rita M. (Ucic) Tsagronis, a resident of the Worcester area for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on 20 June at the age of 86. She is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Dimitrios S. Tsagronis, and six siblings from New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. She is survived by two sons, S. John Tsagronis and Joseph Tsagronis, both of Virginia, and two granddaughters, Kathryn and Sophie Tsagronis.
Rita was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to Joseph and Louise Ucic. She graduated from Yeagertown High School in 1946 and completed her R.N. from Lockhaven School of Nursing. She went on to serve as Head Nurse at Euclid-Glenville Hospital in Euclid, OH and later managed the family’s medical practice with her husband. Rita was a member of St. Christopher Parish in Worcester. She loved nature and enjoyed her garden, along with art, music, and world travel. Above all, she was devoted to her family.
