WORCESTER-Jose Simeon Perez-Lopez, 73 of Worcester passed away Wednesday, June 17 in the Oakdale Rehabilitation Center, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
He leaves his wife, Blanca Iris Lopez-Rosario; 12 children, Aracelis Lopez-Rosario, Veronica Lopez-Rosario, Ricardo Perez-Lopez, Rodolfo Perez-Lopez, Mariluz Perez-Lopez, Jose Luis Perez-Lopez, Kevin Joel Perez-Lopez; and from a previous marriage, Marisol Irizarry, Nelson Febus, Julio Cesar Perez-Maldonado, Maritza Perez and Madelyn Carrero; his god-child and niece; Jacqueline Perez-Sepulveda; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five siblings, Margarita Perez, Alberto Perez, Maria Perez, Aurea Perez and Manuel Perez; and many nephews and nieces. Six siblings, Ismael, Julian, Ramon, Carmen, Eroilda and Abraham predeceased him. He was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on June 2, 1942 son of, Simeon Perez and Isolina Lopez.
A Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 23 from Callahan~Fay~Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00am at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, 15 Chatham Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Monday, June 22 from 5 to 8pm at the funeral home.
