Augusta, GA – Elizabeth Welch Dye, 89, wife of 68 years to Mr. J. Harold Dye, entered into rest on Friday, June 5, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Additional survivors include her granddaughter, Elizabeth K. Daniels (Charles) of Grovetown, GA; great granddaughter, Avery Daniels; sister-in-law, Madge Welch; and son-in-law, Dennis Kearns.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Essie Welch; daughter, Deborah Dye Kearns; and brother, Harold Welch.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Kearns, Billy Dye, Tony Welch and Tony Hauff.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Keysville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, 1005 Highway 88, Keysville, Georgia 30816.
