Timothy Kenneth Hill, age 47, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
Born in Boston, MA on March 15, 1968, he was a devoted son of Edmund J. and Rhonda L. (Blanchard) Hill of Norton, and the loving father of Madisen and Taylor Hill.
Tim was a 1986 graduate of Norton High School, where he was a member of the 1985 Super Bowl Championship Football Team. He furthered his education and was a graduate of UMASS Dartmouth. He then went on to Bristol Community College where he received his occupational therapy degree. Tim was also a lieutenant in the Army National Guard.
He worked for many years at the Wrentham Developmental Center, and most recently at Kindred in Stoughton. He touched the lives of hundreds of people through his work, always trying to put a smile on their faces.
Tim was an avid New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed attending many home games as a 20-year season ticket holder, which included pre-game tailgating parties.
He had a large circle of amazing friends and was famous for his “bear hugs”.
He also enjoyed Texan Hold’em Poker tournaments with his brother Matt, and helping to organize countless charity golf tournaments. Time spent with his daughters, his family and friends was the most important to him, and he will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to his parents and daughters he is survived by his devoted brother Matt Hill and his wife Kristen of Lowell. He was the adoring uncle of Jenna Hill of Lowell, the cherished nephew of Ken and Doris Hill of Littleton, and the former husband of Lisa Conaglia.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, June 6th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 5th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Tim’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Madisen and Taylor Education Fund, care of Rockland Federal Credit Union, 76 Copeland Drive, Mansfield, MA 02048.
