Margaret Adams, 94, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the graveside.
Mrs. Adams was born July 17, 1920, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to the late Charles and Mary Frye Balough. Mrs. Adams was a former lunchroom manager for the Polk County Board of Education. She moved to the community in 1975 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Adams loved working in her yard and especially growing flowers. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and his wife: Charles W. & Marilyn Adams of Highlands, North Carolina and two grandchildren: Scott Adams of Jacksonville, Florida and Monica A. Strickland of Sarasota, Florida.
