Robert W. Gordon, 59, loving husband of 39 years to Anita Gordon, fought and won his courageous battle against ALS when he entered into Heaven on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. David McKinley and Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Robert was born to the late Winfred and Vera Gordon in Tucson, AZ. He was a member of Warren Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters; Lauren Gordon of Evans, GA, Leah Janik (Tyler) Evans, GA, two brothers; John Gordon of Tucson, AZ, and Ray Gordon (Christa) of Las Vegas, NV. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Winfred Gordon, Jr., and two sisters; Jean Gordon and Debbie Gordon.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Skip Balkcum, Gene Fee, Buddy Gardner, Andy Jones, Henry Mealing, Carter Morgan, and Jim Overstreet. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Baptist Church Deacons.
