Junior Charles "Buzz" Dunn Obituary - Water Valley MS

Junior Charles "Buzz" Dunn, age 70, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his home in Water Valley, MS. He was born September 21, 1944 in Albany, CA to the late Junior Winston and Virginia Glass Dunn. Buzz served in the United States Army and was a former member of Modesto Ambassadors Club and Clampers Charity Organization for children and indigents. He retired from Heinz/Con-Agra after 25 years of service as a boiler operator then went to work at Caterpillar where he retired as a machinist. Buzz was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed taking his wife, Norma dancing, fishing, tinkering with engines, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A memorial service will follow the visitation in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. David Freeman officiating.

Buzz is survived by his wife, Norma Harris Dunn of Water Valley, MS; his daughters, Cathy Dunn Rose (Tim) of Swansea, SC, Debbie Dunn of Modesto, CA and Charlotte Dunn Abby of Colorado Springs, CO and son-in-law Steve Abby of Mt. View, AR; his son, Christopher Dunn (Donna) of Lexington, SC; his sisters, Marie Day (David) and Dorothy Gonzales (Richard) all of Modesto, CA; his brother, Jimmie Dunn (Kathy) of Water Valley, MS; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Frieda Ortiz.
