Bird, John W. 66, of East Bridgewater passed away suddenly at the Brockton Hospital on May 3. Husband of Paulette (Bergeron) Bird of East Bridgewater. Father of Michael Bird and his fiancée Kerrey Anderson of East Bridgewater, and Tammy (Bird) Reichert and her husband Kenneth Reichert of Plymouth. He also leaves a brother David, 2 sisters Joan and Carol, and 8 grandchildren.
John was born in Somerville, and grew up in Raynham. He graduated from Bridgewater Raynham High School. He worked for Rollins Steel Erectors in East Bridgewater for over 20 years. John enjoyed fishing, camping, and adored his grandchildren. All services will be private. There will be a memorial held on May 22 to celebrate John's life at the Plympton Upland Club from 4-8pm.
