Grovetown – MSG. David W. Swett, 65, beloved husband of Julia Swett, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 07, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Yong S. Lee and Rev. Philip Hong officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Swett was born in Arizona, had served 25 years in the United States Army, and was employed in the Rooms To Go Home and Decorate store. He had a Bachelors of Science in Education and Criminal Justice, and was a member of the Augusta Korean American Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Julia, he is survived by his son, John. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa. He shall live on forever in the heart of his loved ones.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, May 10, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
