Obituary

WORCESTER: Rose M. (Giordano) Jordan, 96, of 15 Uxbridge St., died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, after a fire at her home. Her husband, Charles J. Jordan, died July 10, 1992.
She leaves her sister, Eleanor E. Rinaldo, with whom she lived; a brother, Charles J. Spaziante and his wife Karen of Holliston; several nieces and nephews, John Rinaldo, Diana Rinaldo and her fiancé Stacey O’Neil, Kristina Algieri and her husband Natale, Susan Stout and her husband Glenn, Christopher Spaziante, Deb Servidio, Joseph Spaziante; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Her step-father, Sebastiano Spaziante, a brother, Albert F. Spaziante, a sister-in law, Anne T. Spaziante, and a brother-in-law, John Rinaldo, all predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Peter Giordano and Lena (Del Negro) Giordano Spaziante and lived here all her life.
Rose worked more than 15 years as an Inspector with the Telechron Division of General Electric, until she retired. She was a long time member of St. Bernard’s Church, now known as Our Lady of Providence Parish, and a former member of the church’s Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
CALLING HOURS will be from 8 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. on TUESDAY, MAY 12 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., immediately followed by A FUNERAL MASS at 11 A.M. at ST. BERNARD’S CHURCH, 228 Lincoln St. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
