AUBURN – Laurence C. Penney, 87, died 5/2/15. His loving wife Gerbrig (van der Ende) Penney passed away in 1997. He leaves his three sons, James Penney (Kathy nee Wethey), Bill O’Brien-Penney (Noirin nee O’Brien), and Darryl Penney (Kimberly nee Kelley); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Norman and Robert; his sister Shirley Fay and many nieces and nephews. His brother, James and his sister, Ruthann Pearson predeceased him.
Laurence was born in Worcester, the son of Lawrence J. and Ethel (Peterson) Penney. He graduated from Worcester Boys’ Trade School and the Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Penney owned and operated his own Chiropractic practice for many years. He was a deacon in the Worcester Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The memorial service will be held at 4:00 on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Worcester Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2 Airport Dr., Worcester, MA, 01602. Memorial donations in Laurence’s name may be made to this church.
