Obituary

WORCESTER-Dmitry “Dima” Krashenny, 64, of Worcester passed away peacefully Friday, May 1 at his home.

He leaves his loving wife of almost 42 years, Bella (Spivak) Krashenny. His memory will live on forever through his only daughter, Sasha and her husband, Chris Papalilo of Marlborough and his two grandchildren, Zachary and Tatyana. He is also survived by his brother, Gregory Krashenny of New York, NY; a niece, Yulia Krashenny of California: sister-in-law, Irina Spivak of Worcester; a nephew, Samuel Krutov of Worcester; and extended family in, Russia, Canada and Houston, TX. He was born in Moscow, Russia, son of Solomon and Tatyana (Kirschenbaum) Krashenny and immigrated to the United States in 1981.Dima, along with his wife have co-owned Bellisimo Europen Day Spa in the Tatnuck area of Worcester since 1986. Prior to joining his wife in business he was a successful small business owner of Alexandra Cab Corporation and Caboose Incorporated located at Spags in Shrewsbury.

Dima was an incredible and generous husband and father. He was very dedicated to his family and friends. Dima was a larger than life person, who loved the absolute best things in life.

The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 3, at 10:00 AM in CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in Bnai Brith Cemetery. Bella and Sasha will be sitting Shiva from Sunday, May 3 to Sunday, May 10 daily from 12:00 to 7:00PM at the family home, Two Tristan Court, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yeshiva Achei Tmimim, 22 Newton Avenue, Worcester, 01602 or to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, 01608.
