Debra A. Donoghue, of Wilmington for more than 25 years, passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2015. She was 55 years of age. Debra was the beloved wife of Robert J. Donoghue and together they shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Somerville she was one of three children of the late Warren and Celine (Garrity) Childs.

Family was everything to Debra. She cherished her role as a wife, mother and homemaker. She was totally devoted to her children and supporting them in all their schooling and sporting activities over the years. She was their number one fan and her love for them was always unconditional. Debra was an extraordinary cook and loved preparing delicious meals for her family and friends to enjoy. Very social, Debra had a wonderful network of friends. She loved spending time with neighbors and friends sharing in each other’s company, playing cards and being together. In her leisure time she also enjoyed working on puzzles. Debra will be greatly missed be her family and friends and those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her beloved husband Robert, Debra is survived by her devoted children, Bobby Donoghue of Medford and Kimberly Donoghue of Wilmington. She was the cherished sister of Edward Childs of Somerville, Maureen Mills of Medford and her late husband Hal. Niece of Jeanie Bauman of Bedford. Daughter-in-law of Denis and Ann Donoghue of Scituate. Sister-in-law of Dennis Donoghue of Rowley, Michael Donoghue of Scituate, Kathy Walsh of Hingham, and Tim Donoghue of Malden. Dear aunt of Erin Mills Richard, Lindsey Mills and further survived by many more loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St. Wilmington, Thursday, April 30th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, WILMINGTON, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
