Perry, W. Patricia (Cradock) of Shrewsbury, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on April 21, 2015 with her family by her side at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Ronald S. Perry. Loving mother of Maryellen Collins and her husband Bernard, Ronald and his wife Sheila, and Patrice Berens and her husband Michael. She also leaves behind 9 cherished grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Collins, Christine Collins Bunnell and her husband William, Megan Collins Schmitt and her husband Michael, Matthew Perry and his fiancé Katie, Jessica Perry, Cassandra Perry, Alicia Perry, Caroline Berens and Emma Berens. Sister of Mary Power, Helen Doherty and Christine Tracey, James and John Cradock and their spouses. Sister-in-law of Alfred Perry and the late Walter Perry. Also survived by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was born and raised in Jamaica Plain, Ma. She was a graduate of Mission High School and Emmanuel College. She was married to her husband for 59 years, who she met on a blind date. She taught in many capacities, but her favorite was teaching freshman English at Catholic Memorial High School. More than anything Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Everyone who has been touched by Pat will remember how special she made them feel. Prior to and since her stroke in 1994 she has been an example of grace and strength. Visiting hours will be held for Pat on Friday, April 24, from 4 to 8 pm at Gormley Funeral Home at 2055 Centre Street in West Roxbury. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral from the Gormley Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre St., West Roxbury at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Donations in memory of Pat may be made to Catholic Memorial High School, 235 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 01232
