WORCESTER: Jennifer J. (Karkonan) Burke, 40 years young, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, after becoming ill at her home.
She leaves her husband of 19 years, William J. Burke; her son, Kyle W. Burke; her daughter, Ashley L. Burke; her parents, Reza and Darlene J. (Ellis) Karkonan; her maternal grandmother, Joan Ellis; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was born in Haverhill, raised in Worcester and was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School. She moved to Katy, Texas where she lived until returning to Worcester in June of last year.
Jennifer worked as a medical assistant in Katy, Texas for several years. She enjoyed music and movies but most of all, she loved spending time in her home with her husband and children. Her devotion to her loved ones knew no bounds. She will be loved and missed by all forevermore.
CALLING HOURS are 5 to 8 P.M. on MONDAY, APRIL 6 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 11 A.M. on TUESDAY, APRIL 7 at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 353 Grove St. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
