Doris C. (Griffin) Chase, 85, of New Bedford died March 25, 2015 at New Bedford Health Care Center after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Ralph Howland Chase, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George and Germaine (Frenette) Griffin, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She enjoyed cooking and shopping.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Hardman and her husband Alexander of New Bedford; a sister, Jeanette Biritz of Prairie Village, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Irene Rodrigues.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 9 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Chase Cemetery, Dartmouth. Visitation will be on Friday, March 27th from 4-7 PM.
