In North Dighton, March 13, 2015 Kathleen E. (Cole) McGuirk wife of the late Robert M. McGuirk died in home peaceful at the age of 89. Born in Taunton and a graduate of Taunton High School Class of 42, Kathleen was the daughter of the late James and Catherine T. (Foley) Cole. She was a retired telephone operator for New England Telephone and for Bristol County Agricultural School. She was a member of the Queens Daughters, St Nicholas of Myra Woman’s Guild and the Weir Senior Citizens. Old Colony Historical Society Taunton Red Hats. Volunteer Morton Hospital., Kathleen was the mother of Susan M. McGuirk of Taunton, Joanne C. Newsham & her husband Mark of N. Ft. Myers FL. , Kevin M. McGuirk & his wife Suzanne of Swansea, Brian J. McGuirk & his Wife Ann of Wolfboro NH. and David P.McGuirk & his Wife Denise of N.Dighton. Grandmother of Sean & his wife Hannah, Eric, Alex, Matthew, Jack, Shayna and Jesse. Great Grandmother of Keegan. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, March 19th at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Nicholas of Myra Church in Dighton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
