Mary(Garrity)Falk, age 89, died at LifeCare of Leominster, MA on February 21, 2015 where she made her home for the last 4.5 years. Mary was born in Framingham, MA and lived most of her life in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years, John(Jack)Falk who died in 1996.
She leaves a son, 3 daughters, and 2 granddaughters, Michael Falk and wife Lynne of Lunenburg, MA, Kathleen Townsend and husband Chuck of The Villages, FL, Donna Fraser and husband Steve of Scottsdale, AZ and Denise West and husband Colin of Marshfield, MA. She also leaves her 22 year old twin granddaughters Morgan and Kelsey of Marshfield who brought her unending joy. Mary also leaves many friends and extended relatives.
Mary worked for decades at Wayside Nursing Home where she brought smiles and laughter to so many as the Activity Director until her retirement.
We will always remember her positive attitude and her uncanny ability to lift people up and to see the best in any situation.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday February 26th from 4-7 pm at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston, MA 01583. Her Funeral Mass will be from St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street in Worcester on Friday, February 27 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Leicester, MA. We are so grateful to each and every person at Lifecare who cared for and loved our Mom so genuinely for the last several years.
