Charles E. Ryan, age 83, of Norton, formerly of Foxboro, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Carey D. (Leonard) Ryan.
Born in Foxboro, MA on July 27, 1931, he was a son of the late Harold V. and Anne (McGrath) Ryan. He grew up in Foxboro, was a graduate of Foxboro High School and had served in the United States Air Force.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Ryan had worked for many years at the Foxboro Co in Foxboro; retiring as a cost estimator.
He had made his home in Norton for the past 27 years and his hobbies included antiquing.
He was the father of Patricia R. Proudy of Stockbridge and Timothy C. Ryan of Westerly, Rhode island. He is also survived by his granddaughters; Janine Ryan and Katherine C. Proudy.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Burial at a later date at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton will also be private.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Charle’s with a donation in his memory made to the charity of ones choice.
