In Wareham, February 8, 2015 Margaret A. (Sheehy) Denly Age 96, passed away in Tobey Hospital. Margaret was born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Charles & Elizabeth L. (Jordan) Sheehy. Margaret resided in Marion the past 34 years and was formerly of Milton and Taunton. Margaret worked as a hostess for the family restaurant and at Bonwit Teller Clothing in Boston. She was a member of the Quincy Emblem Club and Wollaston Golf Club. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her children Patricia Denly and her husband Peter Gillings of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Peter Denly and his wife Elizabeth of Westford, MA. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren Patrick Rook, James M. Denly, Sean P. Denly and Brett S. Denly and was preceded in death by her son Alfred M. Denly Jr. and her siblings Ellen J. Reed, John E. Sheehy, Mary E. Paska and Rita L. Goldrick. Margaret also leaves several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 16th at 11 am. in St. Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the Mass at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 from 9-10:30 am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
