Charles L. “Charlie” Green, age 47, of North Attleboro, formerly of Norton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Born in Taunton, MA on April 19, 1967, he was a loving son of the late Charles and Emily (Oliver) Green. He grew up in Norton and was a 1986 graduate of Norton High School.
Charlie was an accomplished musician and talented guitarist. He produced music and sang in local bands. He lived like a rock star and enjoyed living life to the fullest.
When not spending time with his adoring family and close circle of friends, Charlie’s greatest passion was attending concerts. His favorite groups included Pink Floyd, The Who, Metallica, and most recently he had attended an Eagles concert. His other interests included being an avid reader.
He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Tiffani L. Green of Norton. He was the dear brother of Sharon Yu of Haverhill, Michael Prado and his wife Debra of Taunton, David Prado and his wife Maria of Taunton and Rande Green and his wife Carrie of South Attleboro. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Dante Green of Norton, his former longtime companion Tricia Briere of New York, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, February 16th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
Burial will be at a later date at the Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
In lieu of flowers, Charlie’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Walden Woods Project, 44 Baker farm, Lincoln, MA 01773
