BOYLSTON-Stephen J. Pupkar, Sr., 54, passed away Friday, February 6th. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Jill M. (Kulbokas) Pupkar; his son, Stephen J. Pupkar, Jr. of Boylston; his brother, Michael Pupkar and his wife Deb of Leicester; two sisters, Deb Francis and her husband Ken of Boylston and Cathy Quinn of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Mike Quinn.
Stephen was born in Fitchburg the son of Ralph and Helen (Byrne) Pupkar. He graduated from Tahanto Regional High School. After high school, Stephen joined the United States Marine Corp. Reserves. He worked as a project manager for R.P. Masiello Inc. Stephen was a New England sports fan but especially loved the Patriots. He enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiling and playing golf. He loved animals and had many pets.
