Obituary


Bruno, Vincent Joseph “Jim” 93 of Plymouth formerly of East Boston, Saugus, and South Yarmouth, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth on January 18. Husband of the late Eileen D. (Higgins) Bruno, he leaves his daughters Patricia M. Horton and her husband Richard, Joan M. Vigliotte and her husband Michael, Noreen A. Famulari and her husband Paul, and sons James Thomas Bruno and his wife Deborah and the late James T. Bruno. He also leaves a brother Raffaelo “Ralph” Bruno, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Jim was born in Boston the son of the late Domenico and Maria C. (Ricciutti) Bruno. Jim served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He worked in ground service and fuel inventory control for American Airlines for 44 years retiring in 1983. Jim enjoyed boating and the ocean. He was a former member of St. Pius X Church in South Yarmouth.
A private funeral mass was held at St Bonaventure Parish and burial was in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, Massachusetts
