Paul R. Huffman, age 78, of Norton, formerly of Bridgewater and Marshfield passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Alice (Huemiller) Huffman.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on September 15, 1936, he was a son of the late Paul and Genevive (Cochran) Huffman.
Paul grew up and was educated in Chicago. During the Korean War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged from the service on December 19, 1958 with the rank of TM2.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Huffman had spent the majority of his working career as a fuel technician for TWA Airlines.
He had recently moved to Norton in October and was a former longtime resident of Bridgewater and Marshfield. Amongst many things, he will especially be remembered for his exceptional cooking skills.
He is survived by three daughters: Cheryl M. Williams and her husband David of Norton, Lisa A. Huffman of Ashland and Renee J. Waite and her husband Brian of Norton. He was the brother of Jean Eggert of Chicago and is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services and burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
