BRAIT, John Paul, age 69, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Dedham, MA, died December 1, 2014, after a long illness. Beloved husband of Geraldine Brait (Gerri) for 51 years. Loving father of Jeffrey Brait of West Roxbury and the late John Brait and Richard (Ricky) Brait. Grandfather of Stephanie Brait of CA. Brother of Joseph Brait of FL, Robert Brait (Audrey) of West Roxbury, Jean Larkin (James) of FL, Ann Marie Brait of Needham, and Lucy Cody of Scituate. For many years, John was a member of The Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed every day. Visiting hours will be held at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Tuesday, January 20th from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington Street, West Roxbury, Wednesday, Jan 21st at 1:00pm. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in John's name.
