James G. Hennessy, 71, died on December 20th at Beth Israel – Plymouth after a lengthy illness. He resided at 23 Prince Street, Plymouth, MA. Born and raised in New York City, a graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School and attended Marist College. He resided for many years in Connecticut, Cape Cod and most recently, Plymouth.
Jim held management positions spanning 30 years at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT; the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, CT; and Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was past President of the CT Association of Patient Account Management, past President at the Hospital of St. Raphael Credit Union, past member of the MA Association Patient Account Management, past treasurer of the New England Association of Patient Account Management.
Jim was the son of the late George and Julia Hennessy. Loving father of Sheila, James and Kevin. Dear brother of Elizabeth and also survived by two loving grandchildren Emily and Ryan, their dear mom Liane and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 22nd at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth at 11:15 AM. Burial will be private.
