Mary Lott Young, 89, of Osierfield, died Friday, December 19, 2014, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Osierfield Cemetery with Jo Glenn and Dan Glenn officiating.
Mrs. Young was born October 24, 1925, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Henry & Mattie Paulk Lott. She attended Georgia College for Women in Milledgeville. She was a former teacher at Ashton and Holt and was a homemaker. For many years, she managed Young Tractor Company. She attended Pine Level Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Jo Glenn of Osierfield; a grandson: Dan & Jennifer Glenn of Osierfield and a great-grandson: Silas Glenn. She is also survived by three nephews: Jeff Lott, Tim & Karen Lott, and Glen & Patsy Lott as well as a goddaughter: Melissa Humphries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: W.D. Young; a son: W.D. “Donny” Young, Jr.; a granddaughter: Heidi Rebecca Glenn; a brother: Cleon Lott; and a nephew: Mark Lott.
