Lynda A. (Callahan) Kampersol, age 63, of Norton, formerly of Framingham, passed away surrounded by her loving family, in the comfort of her home on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was the beloved wife of John R. Kampersol to whom she was wed for the past 42 years.
Born in Cambridge, MA on July 13, 1951, she was a loving daughter of the late Robert Sr., and Myrtle (Crowell) Callahan.
Lynda grew up in Framingham and was a graduate of Framingham South High School. She had made her home in Norton for the past 14 years.
For many years, Mrs. Kampersol compassionately served others as a medical receptionist; always making those in her presence feel welcomed.
Lynda’s life was devoted to her adoring family and she especially loved sharing time with and spoiling her grandson Jake. Her generosity and kind heartedness to all whose lives she touched will remain a beautiful memory forever
In addition to her beloved husband John, she is survived by her devoted and loving daughter Erica A. Kampersol Brown and her husband Thomas Brown of Norton. She was the cherished grandmother of Jake Brown of Norton. She was the dear sister of the late Robert Callahan, Jr. and Janine Callahan, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 21st from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
