Twomey, Timothy J. 83, of Plymouth, MA and Strafford, NH (Bow Lake), formerly of Andover, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Beloved husband of Mildred (Shaw) Twomey of Plymouth. father of Brian Twomey of Brookline, and Michael Twomey of Sandwich. Grandfather of Peter and Timothy Twomey, he also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Timothy was born in Charlestown, the son of Jeremiah and Mary Ellen (Murphy) Twomey. He graduated from Boston English High School and graduated college at The Citadel. He worked as an engineering manager for New England Telephone Company in Boston, Manchester, NH and Framingham before retiring in 1990. He previously served as an officer in the US Army. He treasured time spent with all family members and was a long-time Boston sports enthusiast.
There are no visiting hours. There will be a funeral mass at St Bonaventure Parish at a later date.
