Obituary

James Leo Huxley, of Plymouth formerly of Brockton, died peacefully at home on October 27th at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Eastman) Huxley of Plymouth and his children Deborah Huxley Guardino of Bridgewater, James Huxley Jr. of Brockton, Pamela Lyne of Plymouth, William Huxley of Lakeville, Nancy Huxley and Denise Huxley-Munro of Kingston. He also leaves his 8 cherished grandchildren.
James was born in Boston, son of the late James and Mary (Notrem) Huxley. James lived in Brockton before moving to Plymouth 21 years ago. He had worked for Casey & Hayes Moving Company for 24 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 29th from 4 to 8 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th at St. Peter’s Church at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in his memory be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch PL. #201, Boston, MA 02114.
