Dawn L. Ewing, 52, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, August 30, 2014, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Elder Edward McIntyre officiating. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends following the service.
Ms. Ewing was born April 14, 1962, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Billy Waldo & Barbara Lee Thomoson Ewing. A 1980 graduate of Irwin County High School, she was a long-time employee of Coachmen Industries where she worked in the pre-fab department building cabinets. She attended Frank Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son: Blake Lott of Fitzgerald; a sister: Donna & Kerry James of Irwin County; a brother: Bruce Ewing and Jeanelle Swanson of Irwin County; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Chad Ewing and Brad Ewing.
