Gloria J. (Courbron) Frazer, age 77, of Bryant Pond, Maine, formerly of Norton passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine. She was the beloved wife of Frank F. Frazer to whom she was wed on July 7, 1956.
Born in Norton, MA on June 14, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late Eli and Jennie (Flanagan) Courbron. She grew up in Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School.
Gloria was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family. She had made her home in Bryant Pond for the past 15 years. She had previously been a longtime resident of Norton where she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton.
Gloria’s favorite times spent were those in the presence of her very large extended family. Her favorite hobby was bird watching, and she loved spending time gardening.
In addition to her beloved husband Frank of 58 years, she is survived by her loving and devoted children; Diane A. Frazer of Bryant Pond, Maine and Brian R. Frazer of Norton. She was the sister of Roland Courbron of Norton and was pre-deceased by several siblings. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughter Monica Frazer and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 9:00 A.M. from the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Private burial will take place at a later date at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 25th from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
