Ida Caruso, 85 of Somerville, died Tuesday in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, Medford, MA.

Born in Italy, she lived in Somerville since 1958 and was the daughter of the late Maria (Mosesso) and Dominico Petrarca.

Beloved wife of the late Amedeo Caruso. Devoted mother of Rudy Caruso and his wife Tina of Somerville, John Caruso and his wife Linda of Texas, Angelo Caruso and his wife Julie of Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Beth Caruso Millett, Kathy Caruso Lang; Tony, Lisa and Nicholas Caruso and Samantha Fillmore. Loving great grandmother of Alex, Desiree and Giovanni Caruso and Isabella Lang.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
