Obituary

Robert A. Dion, 71, of Manchester, died at his home.
He was born in Manchester on March 13, 1943 to Leo and Marie Ange (Robert) Dion. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1967.
Mr. Dion worked for the US Postal Service for many years and retired as postmaster at the North Salem Post Office. He had also worked at Moore Business Forms in Manchester.
He was an avid collector of stamps and ran the monthly stamp show at the Nashua Holiday Inn. He also had a significant collection of antique postcards.
Mr. Dion served as president of both the New Hampshire chapter of retired postmasters and the New Hampshire and Manchester stamp associations
The family includes a son, Matthew T. Dion; grandchildren, Nicolas Dion, Alexi Focosi, Ava Focosi and Michael Focosi and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2014 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester will be at a later date.
