Obituary

McEachern, Barbara, of Yarmouthport, and formerly of Roslindale, on December 1, 2013 at age 87 after a brief illness. As a lifelong lover of art, she incorporated her talents into a career with the New England Telephone Company as an interior designer and a real estate space planning engineer. Barbara’s artistic skills were in constant demand for portraits, and testimonials for retiring executives, as well as illustrations for numerous company publications. At the time of her retirement, she was the director of Graphic Arts for Nynex. In retirement, Barbara called Yarmouthport home, enjoying the ocean, her garden, her studio and her most recent fascination with watercolor. She cherished the time she spent with her friends in Naples and Sanibel Florida. Her beautiful paintings and famous illustrated Christmas cards will be missed by all.

Loving sister of the late Maurita G. Moan and devoted aunt to five nieces and a nephew. Beloved daughter of the late Francis and Mary McEachern.
