McNulty, Reverend Robert E., ACSW, of Marshfield, Retired Executive Director of Catholic Charities/Catholic Family Services for the Diocese of Norwich, CT, November 8, 2013. Beloved son of the late John and Ellen (Gallagher) McNulty. Loving brother of David McNulty and his wife Mary of Bourne and the late Mary A. McNulty, John J. McNulty, MD, Eleanor J. Sylvia, Kathleen C. Macdonald, Bernard J. McNulty, William J. McNulty and his wife Marie and Edward P. McNulty and his wife Rita. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Father McNulty will lie in state in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Marshfield (Green Harbor) on Tuesday November 12, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
Father McNulty was ordained to the priesthood in Boston on February 2, 1956.
Father McNulty was pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Gales Ferry, CT from 1979 to 1984. Under his direction the new church was built. He is the recipient of the Patrici-Anne Award for his distinguished service to the Norwich Diocese.
