Obituary

Brian E. Paiva, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington following an extended illness. He was 56 years old.

Brian was born in Melrose on June 11, 1957, a son of Mary F. (Zappala) Paiva and Robert C. Paiva. He grew up in Wakefield where he was educated in the Wakefield Public School system and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1976. Brian was working as a pipefitter for Falite Brothers in Wakefield for the last 25 years before his health began to decline. He enjoyed the outdoors including boating, camping and flying.

Brian is the loving husband of Julie M. (Williams) Paiva. He is the devoted father of Kristen and her husband Dave of Lowell, Jessica, Amanda and Nicholas all of Wakefield. He is the loving Pa to J.J., Lacey and Abby. He is the beloved son of Mary F. (Zappala) Paiva and her late husband Robert C. Paiva of Wakefield. He is the beloved brother of Nancy Torlone and her husband Ron of Boxford. He is the beloved uncle of Robbie and Christina. He is the beloved son-in-law of Bill Williams and his late wife Dorothy Williams of Wakefield.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's Funeral on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Wakefield/Melrose line followed by his Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visiting hours will be on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
