Obituary

Robert A. Piso of Westwood, formerly of Norwood, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, October 25, 2013. He was 72 years old.

A huge Red Sox fan, Bob loved to travel and spend time in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL. Highlights of his travels include Graceland, and travelling to China to meet his beloved granddaughter, Lian. An avid music fan, he shared his love of Elvis and music with his family. He enjoyed trying new restaurants and was a supporter of the 100 Club of Massachusetts and the Homeless Vets. Bob was a proud Veteran of the US Army National Guard.

Bob was the loving father of Dawn E. Piso of Walpole. Cherished grandfather “Papa” of Lian M. Piso. Longtime loving companion of Angela Viecelli of Westwood. Former spouse and loving friend of 50 years of Ann C. (Kilroy) Piso-Kfoury of Norwood. Dear and devoted son of the late Anthony Piso and Rosaleen (Shalbey) Piso. Dear brother of the late Lois Piso. Loving cousin of Joyce (Awad) Black of Walpole. He is also survived by several other loving cousins and nieces.

Bob's Funeral Service was held October 30, 2013 at the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral, 7 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury.

Contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA 02215, New England Center for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St. Boston, MA 02108, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN, 38105.

Interment was laid to rest with his parents and sister at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
