Joseph M. Power, a 7 year resident of Somersworth, New Hampshire and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Boston Medical Center. He was 47 years old.
Joe was born in Boston on September 25, 1966, a son of the late Patricia A. (Ellgner) Power. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Joe had been working as a sales clerk for Market Basket in Somersworth, New Hampshire for the last 7 years. He enjoyed all kinds of sports and spending time with his family.
Joe is the loving father of Kaitrin Power of Charlestown and Joseph M. Power Jr. of Charlestown. He is the devoted brother of Donna Dacey of Everett, Charles Power of Seabrook, New Hampshire, Robert Power of Hampton, New Hampshire, Anthony Power of Revere and Tina Gillen of Somersworth, New Hampshire. He is the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joe's Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. Burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
